Crop Protection
Consultancy Services for Optimizing Crop Cultivation Management to Enhance Crop Protection Against Pests and Diseases
CPS Lab provides consulting services regarding pest and plant disease protection management for your plantation, covering:
Early Warning System
CPS Lab provides consulting services for your garden regarding plant pest protection. This service is based on an "Early Warning System" (Early Warning System) where entire land blocks are continuously monitored for the presence of pests. Recommended control measures are formulated based on in-depth research by expert teams into the life cycle of each pest species.
Disease Control
The CPS Lab handles plant disease control directly in the field. Infected plant material is transported to the CPS microbiology laboratory for rapid pathogen identification to determine immediate remedial actions. As with pest control, we prioritize biological control over chemical methods whenever possible. For instance, our research has identified specific antagonistic fungi Trichoderma effective for controlling White Root Fungus in rubber plants and *Ganoderma* fungus in oil palm plants—both of which currently pose serious problems for plantations.
Biological Pest and Disease Control
CPS Lab has devised a series of measures aimed at controlling pests and diseases at every stage of development using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, with an emphasis on biological control. The use of chemicals is extremely rare. Biological pesticides for pest and disease control are produced directly at the CPS Microbiology Laboratory. We produce Trichoderma spp, Cordyceps, Metharizium dan Beauveria with a guarantee of high viability.
Biofertilizer

Sustainable Modern Crop Cultivation Solutions
CPS Lab provides services to optimize soil fertility and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of plant nutrient uptake using eco-friendly, microbe-based solutions. Soil and plant health are improved through the action of live microorganisms:
- Bacteria are important biological agents in the soil, especially in the process of decomposing organic matter by releasing nutrients into the plant root zone, for example Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria and Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria which help increase nutrient availability for plants.
- Fungi inhabiting the root zone help enhance the uptake of water and nutrients, prompting plants to produce nutrients—such as sugars, amino acids, and other compounds—in the root zone to boost plant growth.
- Actinomycetes can act as antibiotics for plants, biocontrol agents against plant diseases, and decomposers of organic matter in the soil (composting).
- As relatively large microbes in the soil ecosystem, protozoa function as organic decomposers, regulators of bacterial populations, and components of the food chain; they also enhance soil fertility by releasing nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients for plant roots.
- Nematodes are microscopic worms inhabiting soil ecosystems and the environment, serving as effective biological control agents against destructive pathogens. They also enhance soil health through nutrient cycling and act as sensitive bioindicators for assessing environmental quality.
